Mindy Steelman, Director of Operations and Co-Founder of HR Metrics Coach, specializes in research/data analysis, account management, process improvement, and tool development. She excels in atmospheres that demand efficiency, precision, and strategic awareness, and has experience in Performance Management, Talent Management, Workforce Planning, and Human Capital Metrics.
Prior to her current consulting work, Mindy served as the Research Coordinator with the Institute for Corporate Productivity (i4cp), where she managed research projects, performed statistical data analysis, created graphics and presentations, and assisted in launching i4cp’s internal survey platform. In this role, Mindy worked with institutions such as the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD), HR People & Strategy (HRPS), American Management Association (AMA), and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), ensuring timely and quality results on research topics including Integrated Talent Management, Informal Learning, Corporate Culture, Social Media, The Future of HR, Coaching, and Global Leadership Development.
While with i4cp, Mindy was promoted to an Account Management role where she worked with clients such as Banner Health, Cameco, ConAgra Foods, KeyBank, The Hertz Corporation, Lockheed Martin, Petco, PNC Bank, Seagate Technology, Sykes Enterprises, WellCare Health Plans, and Waste Management. In this position, Mindy worked one-on-one with clients, assisting them with research requests, peer connections, tool development, and analyst discussions necessary to help reach their relevant initiatives and strategic goals. She was also responsible for managing a collection of working groups, each consisting of 15+ organizations and focused on topics like Performance Management, Talent Management, Diversity, Workforce Planning and Knowledge Retention.
In addition to her primary skillset and experience, Mindy is also a successful meeting/conference planner and website designer, and is a licensed massage therapist in the state of Florida (MA 50694). She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of Miami, and currently resides in Clearwater, Florida with her husband, Mark, and their dog, Simba.
